Office tower becomes a place where lifestyle and work come together

The multi-tenant building spans 33,000 square meters and rises 120 meters high — the largest acquisition to date for the Benkey Real Estate Fund.

Benkey Real Estate Fund has acquired the World Trade Center Almere. The multi-tenant building covers 33,000 square meters, houses 20 tenants — including leasing company Ayvens — and will welcome UWV as a new tenant in 2026. With this transaction, the tallest WTC tower in the Benelux is now owned by a Dutch investor.

Tallest WTC tower in the Benelux

WTC Almere has 31 floors, features 1,566 parking spaces spread across two parking garages, and holds an A++ energy label. This prominent and sustainable office building, located directly next to Almere Centrum station, offers 12,500 square meters of available space for new tenants.

Benkey acquired WTC Almere from a major American asset manager, following extensive asset management by Multi Corporation, the building’s operator. Cushman & Wakefield, a strategic advisor in commercial real estate, acted on behalf of the seller during the transaction. The sale price of the multi-tenant building has not been disclosed.

Benkey Real Estate Fund has ambitious plans for the building—delivered in 2010—aiming to merge lifestyle and work, marking a new chapter for WTC Almere. With themes such as health, tech, and AI, the new owner intends to strengthen the sense of community for both existing and new tenants through a business club and high-end event facilities.

“With this investment, we are strengthening our portfolio with an iconic and sustainable asset in the Amsterdam metropolitan region. It confirms our ambition and growing role as an investor in commercial real estate in the Netherlands. We look forward to further developing this location.”
